Submit an Inquiry:
Thank you for your interest in Presbyterian School. We are excited to have you learn about our community. Please contact Judy Ligon to receive information about our application process and upcoming events.

Schedule a School Tour and Visit Open House:
Individual tours are available by appointment. Please call the Admission Office at (713) 620-6329 to make an appointment with Dejon Banks, the Director of Admission.   Click here for Admission Open House information.

Application Submission:
Please complete and submit a Presbyterian School application form online.  The nonrefundable application fee is $100. (The fee for families reapplying to Presbyterian School is $50).   If you are applying online, please mail the application fee to the Admission Office.  Applications will not be processed until the application fee is received. 

Applicants to the Alpha class must be two years old by January 1.  Applications should be submitted to the Admission Office by January 8, 2010. Siblings of Presbyterian School students should submit their application by November 13, 2009.

Admission Testing and Visits:
Each child applying to Presbyterian School will be required to participate in school visits and admissions testing. Please refer to Testing for more specific information on your child's admission testing and visit requirements. Please note that for some grades admissions testing requires an additional fee.  With the exception of ISEE testing, the Admission Office will schedule each applicant's admission testing upon receipt of application.  Presbyterian School will share admissions testing results and also receive admissions testing results from other independent schools.

Teacher Recommendation:
Below are the links to the teacher recommendations.  Please print then give the teacher recommendation form(s) to the applicant's current teacher to complete and return to Presbyterian School .  Early Childhood applicants who are not currently enrolled in a social or educational program do not need to have a teacher recommendation form completed.  Please note, Middle School applicants will have two teacher recommendation forms that need completion.  In order to download a teacher recommendation form, click on the appropriate grade below:

Transcript:
 Click here to download a transcript request form. Please give it to the applicant's current school registrar as an authorization and request to release the applicant's official school transcripts to Presbyterian School.  

 Decisions:
The Admission Office strives to make a good fit between the applicant and Presbyterian School.  Decisions for admission to Presbyterian School are based upon a child's school visits and various admissions testing, the teacher recommendation form(s) and the child's transcripts, if applicable. Decisions regarding a student's application to Presbyterian School will be mailed the second week of March 2010.  Responses are expected back by April 7, 2010.
