Presbyterian School Class of 2004

Presbyterian School is proud to announce the graduation of its 8th grade class. The 2004 graduates of Presbyterian School include Alex Archer, Joseph Arcidiacono, Shelby Bowers, Blair Bradford, Rachael Brown, Charles Bryan, Charlie Burt, Monica Cheavens, Zena Cortez, Mitchell Cotler, Ian Herbert, David Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Keith Huff, Jr., Amy Jenkins, David King, James King, Shugey Ledezma, Amanda Lester, Vincent Lujan, Andrew Marrack, Cristina Masson, Natascha Matten, James McBride, Erica Njoku, Edward Ortiz, Jorge Ortiz, Stephanie Pons, Garrett Rachal, Kelsey Rodriguez, Laura Rodriguez, Theodor Russell, Gabriela Salazar, Jesus Sanchez, Jr., Andrew Sterling, William Taylor, Diana Wakasugi, Steven Weil and Julia Wood.

The 39 members of the Class of 2004 made numerous applications to independent and private high schools this year and enjoyed considerable success. Acceptances to the following high school programs included: Duchesne Academy (1), Episcopal High School (22), Incarnate Word Academy (2), The Kinkaid School (4), St. John’s School (4), St. Agnes Academy (10), St. Pius X High School (2), St. Stephen's Episcopal School (3), St. Thomas Catholic High School (15), Second Baptist School (2) and Strake Jesuit College Preparatory (7). The Class of 2004 also applied and received acceptances to the magnet school programs and International Baccalaureate programs offered by the Houston Independent School District. Applications were made to Lamar IB, Lamar Business Magnet, Bellaire IB, DeBakey High School for Health Professionals, Carnegie Magnet, Middle College at TSU High School, and the High School for Performing and Visual Arts.

Members of the graduating 8th grade class of Presbyterian School voted and agreed to make a generous donation to the Howard (Tony) Babcock Teaching of Science Fund as their class gift.
