Presbyterian School's Early Childhood program has much to offer you. It is a daunting task to make the decision as to where and by whom your child will be taught, cared for and nurtured in your absence.
However, as you begin to seek a school home for your two, three or four year old, I ask you to imagine your child as an explorer, about to begin an adventure. Inoculated against rare diseases, backpacks stuffed with extra clothing, nutritious snacks and some well loved keepsakes from home, he or she will be as prepared as possible for whatever may be encountered in these travels. As a parent, you are doing everything you can to get your child ready for the undertaking.
Many of the skills your child will need in years to come will be taught in their Early Childhood years. Those who are most successful will have the flexibility to solve problems and be curious about all manner of things and how they work. They will be able to tolerate differences and work with others like explorers, they will continue to learn and adapt as their world continues to change and grow.
I encourage you to familiarize yourself with our Early Childhood program. This may be the exact adventure for which your child is ready and waiting.
Sincerely, Abbey Newlin Early Childhood Principal
