Athlete Training + Health (AT+H)

The bus will leave from main campus (Palm Court) promptly at 2:45 to depart for training.  We normally train on Monday and Wednesday of each week; however, if a school holiday falls on Monday, we will train on Tuesday and Wednesday. This year our first training date is Sept. 6. The last fall training date is October 26.

Sessions are held fall, winter, spring and summer consisting of approximately 8-10 weeks per session.  Training is open to boys and girls in grades 5 through 8.

Athletes go directly to the bus and do not dress at school--instead we will change into workout clothes at the ATH facility.  Appropriate dress consists of shorts, t-shirt and running shoes.  We train indoors, so inclement weather does not interrupt the schedule.

Many of our athletes have benefited from training with Athlete Training+Health (formerly known as CES Performance), located at 12211 Kirby Drive, just one exit down 288 from the OEC.  Our coaches endorse the AT+H Training regimen and have seen very good results.  Students may choose to participate in AT+H year round or during a specific sport season. This training is very valuable for the aspiring athlete. We have a bus which transports and returns these students for each workout. Students may be picked up at 4:45 p.m. in Palm Court. Sign-up for AT+H by: 1) visiting their website at , 2) calling 713.568.8938, or 3) contacting Matt Striegel at
