financial assistance available

Recognizing the high costs associated with private education, the School makes every effort to help families with demonstrated need, including those suffering temporary financial hardships. Each year’s school budget contains a significant amount of financial assistance funds specifically earmarked for families with financial need. Students in grades PK4- 8th grade are eligible for financial assistance. PK3 students are not eligible to receive financial assistance.  Applications for financial assistance for new and returning students are due February 2, 2026.  Decisions regarding financial assistance are confidential therefore inquiries and questions regarding financial assistance should only be directed to financialassistance@pshouston.org.

Presbyterian School will delay participating in the Texas Education Freedom Account (EFA) program for the 2026-27 school year in order to monitor how the first year of the program is implemented statewide. In the summer of 2027, the School’s Board will decide about participation for the 2027-28 school year. While Presbyterian School is not currently participating in the EFA program, families are encouraged to apply directly to the School for financial assistance.
