Panther Camp

Panther Camp Sessions I, III, and IV will be offered exclusively for Presbyterian School students. Panther Camp Sessions I, III, and IV will be offered exclusively on a first-come, first-served basis for current Presbyterian School students. PS parents with a child applying to PS for the 2026-27 school year may email Jen Vaden to be added to the sibling/applicant Panther Camp waitlist. In your email, please indicate your child's name, upcoming grade level, and which camp session(s) you would like to enroll your child. If your child is accepted and we can offer them a spot in Panther Camp, you will be notified via email by May 1st.

Panther Camp Session II will be open to Presbyterian School students AND any children registered for First Presbyterian Church’s VBS program. Priority will be given to VBS attendees. Registration for VBS Panther Camp will be sent out through the FPC Children's Ministry Office. To be added to their email list, please click here. 

The cost of Panther Camp is $400 per session per camper. After Care (3:30 - 5:00 p.m.) will be available for Panther Camp. The cost for participating is a flat fee of $50 a week per camper per session required. 

Panther Camp registration will be done via CampBrain. Registration for Panther Camp Sessions I, III & IV will open at noon on January 16, 2026 and is on a first-come, first-served basis. There are limited spots available and a waitlist will be created once the initial camp spots are filled. Registration for Panther Camp Session II will be open to Presbyterian School students AND any children registered for First Presbyterian Church’s VBS program. All Presbyterian School families already have an account set up in CampBrain. Please do not create a new account. Follow these instructions to log in:

1. Go to https://panthercamp.campbrainregistration.com/
2. Sign-In using the same log in credentials you would to register for Extended Day Classes or Panther Place.

Presbyterian School offers a Panther Camp cancellation period following your registration until May 1, 2026. All cancellations through this date are subject to a $50 cancellation fee per week of camp. Starting May 2, 2026, all charges are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Provided below are the deadlines for our Panther Camp 2026 cancellations. If you wish to change your schedule, please contact the Auxiliary Program Office at extendedday@pshouston.org. All cancellations and schedule changes must be made in writing by emailing the Auxiliary Program Office at extendedday@pshouston.org.

Cancellation Deadlines:
May 1 - Last date to make changes to your camper’s schedule. All cancellations must be made in writing by emailing the Auxiliary Program Office at extendedday@pshouston.org

May 2 - All charges are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if the camper's spot can be filled from the camp's waitlist, Presbyterian School will refund families, less the cancellation fee per week of camp.  The Auxiliary Program team will reach out directly if a refund can be offered. 

For Panther Camp drop off and pick up, we are asking all families to use our Carpool lines. You can start dropping off your child for camp as early as 8:30 a.m. Panther Campers will come through the carpool queue by Palm Court and will head to Grand Hall to meet up with their counselors and group for the week. Camp starts at 9:00 a.m. If you arrive after 9:00 a.m., please walk your child into Founders Hall to check in at the front desk with Ms. Canales.  

Afternoon carpool will take place in front of Founders Hall at 3:30 p.m. for regular carpool and then 4:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for pre-registered, After Camp Extended Care.  

• Play clothes that can get messy! 
• Close-toed shoes, no Crocs!
• Sunscreen and bug spray
• Panther Camp T-shirt on Wednesdays and Fridays when we go off campus for field trips and have special events.

All waivers must be submitted before the first day of your camp session. Waivers can be dropped off, and Panther Camp t-shirts picked up, on Sunday, May 31, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A limited number of extra Panther Camp t-shirts will be available on May 31 for purchase at $15 each on a first-come, first-served basis.

Every day all campers will need to bring a lunch and a water bottle- labeled with their name on it. Campers should also pack an afternoon snack for each day of camp. There will be some days when we will provide special treats, like popsicles, for our Panther Campers!  

Each Panther Camp session will include daily rotations between creative arts, indoor and outdoor games and STEAM activities, as well as fun sports and team challenges. In addition, field trips around the city and meaningful service to the Houston community are planned for campers. Click here to view the camp flyer, which gives a quick week-at-a-glance.

The daily and special activities organized will be planned around the Panther Camp session's weekly theme. Field Trips and Special Events will be announced in January. Previous Panther Camp special activities include art car visits, Museum of Natural History Discovery Dome, Jolly Trolley, Tie-Dye Day, Splash day, etc. 

On Wednesdays, Panther Campers will volunteer with service organizations in the city. We will serve the Houston Food Bank and are looking at other organizations with whom we will partner. Check back for further partnerships! 
 

Each Friday, we will have an age-appropriate field trip off campus or “here trip” that will be aligned with a weekly theme. Each Camper must wear their Panther Camp T-shirt on Fridays. Field Trips will be announced in the Spring. Previous Panther Camp field trips include: Wonderwild, Urban Air, Astros Dtadium and Dynamo Stadium.
