Panther Camp

For Panther Camp drop off and pick up, we are asking all families to use our Carpool lines. If you are pre-registered for Early Care, you may drop your child off at the Palm Court double doors between 7:30 - 8:00 a.m. After 8:00 a.m., carpool will close until the next drop off window opens at 8:40 a.m.

At 8:40 a.m., all registered Panther Campers will come through the carpool queue by Palm Court and will head to Grand Hall to meet up with their counselors and group for the week. Camp starts at 9:00 a.m. If you arrive after 9:00 a.m. and Carpool is already closed, you will need to park in the North Parking lots and walk into Founders Hall to check in with Ms. Canales.  

Afternoon carpool will take place in front of Founders Hall from 4:00 PM - 4:15 p.m. for regular carpool and then 5:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for pre-registered, After Camp Extended Care.  

• Play clothes that can get messy! 
• Close-toed shoes, no Crocs!
• Sunscreen and bug spray
• Panther Camp T-shirt on Wednesdays and Fridays when we go off campus for field trips and have special events.

All waivers must be submitted before the first day of your camp session. Waivers can be dropped off, and Panther Camp t-shirts picked up, on Sunday, June 1, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A limited number of extra Panther Camp t-shirts will be available on June 1 for purchase at $15 each on a first-come, first-served basis.

Every day all campers will need to bring a lunch and a water bottle- labeled with their name on it. Campers should also pack an afternoon snack for each day of camp. There will be some days when we will provide special treats, like popsicles, for our Panther Campers!  

Each Panther Camp session will include daily rotations between creative arts, indoor and outdoor games and STEAM activities, as well as fun sports and team challenges. In addition, field trips around the city and meaningful service to the Houston community are planned for campers. Click here to view the camp flyer which gives a quick week-at-a-glance.

The daily and special activities organized will be planned around the Panther Camp session's theme. Here's a quick overview of each session:

Session I
Our panthers will be “On The Go!" with special on campus STEAM activities such as balloon rocket races, airplane and Hot Wheel track design challenges. Our service in the city will include a trip to Hermann Park to volunteer with the Hermann Park Conservancy. After our work is finished, it's all aboard the Hermann Park Train. The week will conclude with a field trip to Urban Air for our older campers and Jolly Trolley for our younger campers.

Session II
Our panthers will test their “Survival Skills" with special on campus STEAM challenges such as fort-making and an obstacle course to tackle! Our service in the city will include a trip for all age-levels to the Houston Food Bank. The week will conclude with an all-camp visit to Wonderwild, one of the best indoor playgrounds in Houston!

Session III
During this All-Star week our special activities include, tie-dying, Field Day relay races and a Campers vs. Counselor Dodgeball game! Our service in the city will include a trip to Hermann Park to volunteer with the Hermann Park Conservancy. The Houston Museum of Natural Science will bring the stars to us with a Discovery Dome showing. This All-Star week will conclude with a field trip to tour at least one major Houston sports stadium!

On Wednesdays, Panther Campers will volunteer with service organizations in the city.

Session I: 
PK4 - 6th Grade: Hermann Park Conservancy

Session II:
PK4 - 6th Grade: Houston Food Bank

Session III: 
PK4 - 6th Grade: Hermann Park Conservancy

Each Friday, we will have an age-appropriate field trip off campus or “here trip” that will be aligned with a weekly theme. Each Camper must wear their Panther Camp T-shirt on Fridays. 

Session I: 
PK4 & K: Jolly Trolley (on campus "here trip")
1st - 6th Grade: Urban Air

Session II:
PK4 - 6th Grade: Wonderwild

Session III: 
PK4 - 6th Grade: Houston Professional Sports Stadium 

To be eligible to attend Panther Camp, students must be currently enrolled in Presbyterian School and entering PK4 through 6th grade in Fall 2025. After the initial registration period, if space is still available, registration will be opened to additional members of the community. 

Presbyterian School offers a Panther Camp cancellation period following your registration until May 1, 2025. All cancellations through this date are subject to a $50 cancellation fee per week of camp. Starting May 2, 2025, all charges are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Provided below are the deadlines for our Panther Camp 2025 cancellations. If you wish to change your schedule, please contact the Auxiliary Program Office at extendedday@pshouston.org. All cancellations and schedule changes must be made in writing by emailing the Auxiliary Program Office at extendedday@pshouston.org.

Cancellation Deadlines:
May 1 - Last date to make changes to your camper’s schedule. All cancellations must be made in writing by emailing the Auxiliary Program Office at extendedday@pshouston.org

May 2 - All charges are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if the camper's spot can be filled from the camp's waitlist, Presbyterian School will refund families, less the cancellation fee per week of camp.  The Auxiliary Program team will reach out directly if a refund can be offered.
