To keep our campus safe, the School will be collecting COVID-19 wellness data based on CDC guidelines. Presbyterian School has teamed with MHR Technologies to launch School-PassTM to provide parents with an easy and secure way to communicate answers to the School's COVID-19 health screening questions.
What do I need to do with SchoolPass?
- Please download the SchoolPass Parent & Student App in the App store.
- Login to the SchoolPass App. SchoolPass will email all parents an introductory email with a school code, username and password to use to login to the App this week.
- Parents must respond to wellness questions related to their child(ren) in SchoolPass everyday before arriving on campus. If SchoolPass is not completed before arriving on campus, parents will be diverted to complete a health screening with their child(ren) in the PS tent in the North Parking Lot.
- If your child fails the SchoolPass wellness check, please keep your child home and add his/her absence to SchoolPass along with the reason for absence. If the absence is related to COVID-19, Julie Brunson, Director of Health Services, will email you.
- If your child is participating in Online Learning, parents are not required to complete the wellness questions in SchoolPass.
- Parents will receive an email reminder from SchoolPass every morning at approximately 7:10 am if the wellness questions have not been completed.
What questions will I be asked in SchoolPass?
Wellness questions asked on SchoolPass should be answered in relation to how your child normally feels in the morning. The purpose of the SchoolPass wellness check is to assess if your child has UNUSUAL symptoms that could indicate he/she has COVID-19 and should remain at home. The following wellness questions will be asked on SchoolPass:
- Has your child had a fever of 100.4 degrees or more within the last 24 hours?
- Has your child been laboratory confirmed for a positive COVID-19 diagnosis in the last 10 days?
- Has your child had shortness of breath, difficulty breathing or a new uncontrolled cough (for people with chronic allergic/asthmatic cough, a change from their baseline)?
- Does your child have a new loss of taste or smell or a sore throat?
- Has your child had nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea within the last 24 hours?
- In the past 2 weeks, has your child had close contact with someone that was laboratory confirmed positive for COVID-19?
