In PK3 we learn about ourselves, each other, our community, and the great big world we are a part of. We find meaning as we explore the world. Natural curiosity of the three-year-old lends itself to exploration. We use the umbrella of dynamic thematic units about such things as the farm, ocean, rain forest, dinosaurs, and insects to capture the imagination and engage the young learner in a play-based classroom experience. Letters, numbers, shapes, colors are all around us. PK3 students build oral language vocabulary, letter recognition, number sense, fine motor skills. Learning through play supports the development of collaboration, communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
