After School Care Teacher

The Opportunity:
The After School Care teachers work with school students after school hours and report to the Director of After School. They also work in conjunction with Presbyterian School faculty. This is an FSLA exempt position, and salary and benefits will be competitive with similar opportunities in the marketplace as well as a candidate’s breadth and depth of experience.
Core Responsibilities:
- Instruct and supervise children in after school activities, including but not limited to supervision of homework, administering snacks, accompanying outdoor activities, playing games, assisting with arts and crafts, and other programmed activities.
- Monitor and maintain all policies and standards as presented by the Coordinator including but not limited to check out lists, teacher/student ratio, following safety procedures, reporting injuries, and others as assigned.
- Maintain a warm classroom environment with a positive and flexible attitude.
