How do we talk to our kids about...technology?
October 13 | 5:00 p.m. | Fellowship Hall
Join Presbyterian School and First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 13, at 5:00 pm in Fellowship Hall for a presentation followed by time for parents to have dinner at a local restaurant. Childcare is available from 5:00pm - 8:00pm with a reservation.*
Our children live in a world of ubiquitous technology. As parents, we are responsible for teaching our children how to navigate the possibilities and pitfalls of phones and iPads, email and texting, Snapchat and Twitter. This can be a most challenging task! Presbyterian School Headmaster Mark Carleton, Chief Technology Officer David Robertson, and Child Therapist Janet Fox will offer guidance based on research, best practices, and experience. Come join the discussion!
*Free childcare is available for ages 2 months through 5th grade. Make your reservation by emailing names, ages, and additional information such as allergies to firstname.lastname@example.org. Reservations must be received by 11:59 p.m., October 6. Your reservation is complete when you receive a confirmation email. Childcare Space is limited. Make your reservation now!
