Students Receive Glassell Scholarships
Posted 12/14/2012 11:45AM
Six Presbyterian Middle School students were the recipients of scholarships from the Glassell School of Art. Students were chosen by Middle School Art Teacher, Bonnie Berler, based upon their sincere interest and enthusiasm in art.  Students were invited to take one of Glassell's Fall 2012 courses. Art classes were held after school during the weekday at the Glassell School with master art teachers.
Zach Georgsson, Edward Clarke and Victoria Mota took a Drawing Class.  These students learned to draw with different mediums such as charcoal and pastels while focusing on still life.  Their artwork is currently hanging on exhibit at the Glassell School of Art.
Annie Badum, Chloe Carizal and Angelica Carizal took a Ceramics Class. These students learned basic ceramics including using the potters wheel.
