Exciting shutout for Varsity Panther Football

The Varsity football team had another exciting barn burner last night...
The Panthers edged out the Shamrocks of the SFL 6-0 with a pick six by Theo Knapp with only a few minutes left in the game. The Defense was absolutely dominant in this game, lead by Defensive Coordinator Darnell Cleary. The front 7 of Will McKinnie, Samik Khosla, William Husted, Will Szymanski, Bennett Manley, Charles Galtney and George Still wreaked havoc all night on the triple option attack of the Shamrocks. We also had key defensive stops by Reed Bourlon, Will Hayes, Sean Xie and Brian Gordon.
The offense moved the ball well and had several big plays, lead by Offensive Coordinator Brandon Walker. Arthur Clarke provided an excellent on-side kick to start the second half that gave the offense an extra possession and Robert Gonsoulin saved the day late in the 4th quarter with a clutch fumble recovery to prevent a scoring opportunity for the opponent.
It was a great team game, please show these guys some love today.
Here is the rest of the roster:
Nicholas Oldham
Harrison Henke
Charlie Funderburk
Mark D'Andrea
Caden Rice
Leo Filardo
Austen Furse
Ajay Dhillon
Go Panthers!
