Hugh Zabriskie '08 Performs Original Composition

Hugh Zabriskie performed an original composition Tuesday evening, April 19,  with the University of Houston Moore's School of Music Jazz Orchestra.

Hugh's composition, "The Cocunut Grove", was performed earlier this fall as a Houston-area TEDx entry.  Based off of this experience, Moores School of Music Jazz Director, Noe Marmolejo invited Hugh to perform is composition on a concert featuring a mix of classic and new compositions for big band.  Hugh is the only high school student to be featured on this performance!

Congratulations to Hugh and we can't wait to hear more of his original compositions!
