Amanda Leavell Shines on the Court and the Field

PS Class of ’09 alum, Amanda Leavell, was honored last weekend as a finalist for the Triple-Impact Competitor® Scholarship from the Positive Coaching Alliance.  High school students were chosen for this scholarship based on how they represent the perfect “Triple-Impact Competitor®” – a Competitor that makes oneself better, makes teammates better and makes the sport better.

Amanda has been impacted by sports her whole life and strived to set the bar high for herself and her teammates while also honoring the game.  She has played basketball since she was little and learned lacrosse and field hockey as a middle school student at Presbyterian.  Currently, Amanda is a senior at St. John’s and captain of the varsity lacrosse and basketball teams.  She has received many sports honors including All-American Honorable Mention, All-State and All-SPC in lacrosse and All-SPC and MVP in basketball.  She has even committed to play lacrosse at Princeton next year!

We want to extend a big congratulation to Amanda for all of her achievements!
