Joyson Zhang places third at International Music Competition

Joyson Zhang, PS Class of 2012 alum, placed third for his piano performance in the 2012 American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music. This competition included applicants from various corners of the world including Canada, China, Costa Rica, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Ukraine and the United States. As a result of his third place award, Joyson is invited to perform at The Winners' Recital held at New York City's Carnegie Hall, one of the world's most impressive performance venues. Earlier this year, he placed first in the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition and was then invited to play at Carnegie Hall. American Protégé is for young actors, dancers, musicians and singers who are on the path to a successful career. Congratulations to Joyson on his many musical achievements!
