Congratulations to Caitlin Luther '07 for receiving the Julia Boone Gunter Award from The Woman's Club of Houston. This award was recognized at The Woman's Club of Houston 10th annual "Very Beary" Market and Luncheon on Sunday, December 5. The following excerpt was about Caitlin was featured in the luncheon brochure.
Congratulations to M.A. Boles '06 who has received quite a few honors as an Outside Hitter for Wasthington and Lee's volleyball team. The ODAC (Old Dominion Athletic Conference) has awarded her back-to-back ODAC player of the week, ODAC Honor Role student-athlete, ODAC Rookie of the Year, First Team All-ODAC and has received other awards including aces leader, back-to-back tournament MVP and most recently, she was named American Volleyball Coaches Association South Region Freshman of the Year.
Blaine Williamson from the Presbyterian School Class of 2008 had her artwork featured on the front of Episcopal High School's 2010 Christmas card. Congratulations, Blaine!
Catherine Tharp '09 is performing in Main Street Theater's The Doctor's Dilemna as Minnie Tinwell and the intern. This is Catherine's first paid role as an actress and she is earning points toward a Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) membership. If she keeps it up, she could vote on the Oscars one day. She’s not only acting on stage, she’s doing behind-the-scenes work on production which is helping her with her role as backstage manager for the next dramatic production at Episcopal High School, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead, which runs Friday, Saturday & Sunday of Halloween weekend.

If they advance and are honored as National Merit Finalists, these students are eligible for more than 8,400 scholarships totaling $36 million. They will be notified later this year on their selection. About 90 percent of semifinalists are expected to reach the finalist designation. The National Merit Corporation has recognized top U.S. students since 1955 for their academic excellence.
The Levy sisters are performing! Sisters Alex Levy '07 and Julia Levy '09 have had a passion for music since they were young and and are now writing their own music and performing. Click here to check out their performance on Great Day Houston this summer.
