Volunteering with the Middle School Musical is a wonderful way to be involved with 8th grade students. In coordination with the Musical Director, you may help with props, costuming, sound, lighting and sets! (Dates: Preparation through winter, spring and Musical in May).

Art Guild volunteers assist Lower School and Middle School art teachers with preparing, labeling, and displaying students’ artwork during the year and for special events such as Admission Open House, Grandparent and Special Friends Day and the Middle School Musical.

Presbyterian School strives to celebrate the spirit of its Middle School sports teams with special events during each sport's season.  Additionally, we organize Middle School parents of athletes to provide concessions to attendees at sports events at the Outdoor Education Campus and key games on the main campus.

Presbyterian School holds a Book Fair each year to raise funds for the school libraries through book purchases and donations. The  Book Fair will be held at Barnes and Noble on West Gray at Shepherd after Grandparent's Day. Committee volunteers help with organization, set up, and staffing.

Enjoy a day of filled with fun, entertainment and good food at the OEC! Volunteers help with setup, raffle ticket sales and more! 

Early Childhood and Lower School students enjoy this fun-filled family event featuring gingerbread house decorating that celebrate the Christmas season. Volunteers coordinate, set up and staff this event.

We will be bringing back our Dad's Breakfasts a few times a year during the 2022-2023 school year. We are looking for dads who would be interested in being involved in the planning of these events. 

The PS Volunteer Council provides snacks and refreshments in the teachers’ lounges on designated days as assigned to grades throughout the school year.

Help decorate Fellowship Hall for our annual Family Feast before the 8th Grade Musical!

Field Day is an outdoor day of physical fun at the Presbyterian School Outdoor Education Campus for 1st-7th grade students. Field Day volunteers, in coordination with the Physical Education staff, organize, set up and staff the events, activities and snacks and share in this celebration.

Volunteers are needed to cover the Middle School front desk for one hour each day during lunch time.  If you sign up for this committee, you will be contacted to schedule a time that would work for you to fill in at the front desk. 

On this special day, grandparents and special friends of each student are invited to visit the school.  Volunteer Council help organize the day, decorate, set up and escort visitors. 

The PS Volunteer Council works with the school nurse to facilitate hearing and vision screening of students. A simple but much needed commitment, this volunteer opportunity allows you to meet many of the students of our school as you escort them through the screening schedule.

Learning Commons volunteers are needed to help with circulation, shelving and book processing. Book processing volunteers are especially needed to create book plates and place jackets on the books that have been donated to the Learning Commons from Book Fairs. Volunteers may schedule to come in and work independently or come in during  group sessions.

Volunteers help sort and organize the Lost and Found area throughout the year. They also help set up Lost and Found pop ups in the Founders Hall lobby four times a year.

Photography Workgroup photographs moments throughout the school year, including candid shots, PS Volunteer Council special events, and classroom and school functions as well as capturing our volunteers in action. Photographs are used for our yearbook, for presentations at PS Volunteer Council general meetings and other projects.

Play Day is a great spring fling for our Early Childhood students. Children participate in a morning of fun outdoor activities and games. Help is needed to gather materials beforehand, and assist with activities and clean up at the event.

Kick up your heels and boot-scoot with your PK3 – Kindergarten classes as they don western attire and learn of Western lore, customs and traditions during Rodeo Day. Volunteers are needed for set up and assisting with fun activities including sack races, face painting, trail mix, crafts, and more.

Assist the school photographer with individual and class pictures. This fun volunteer opportunity allows you to put names to faces of many of our school’s students as you help ready students for picture taking.

Servant Hearts Guild provides support and encouragement through prayer, cards and meals to Presbyterian School families in times of need.

Presbyterian School has a strong commitment to give our children a sense of outreach to those in need in the community.  Each grade will have one program to be executed during the year. 

Uniform resale provides a chance to help some clean out their closets while helping others to find uniforms at the reasonable price of $5 for each item. Volunteers help to sort and organize the uniform resale room on a periodic basis. Uniform resale room is open during school hours year-round on the first floor of Founders Hall.

Veterans are invited on campus to attend a reception and Chapel to honor them and thank them for their service. Volunteer Council help organize the day, decorate, set up and escort veterans.
